New Occupant: HeidelbergCement Finance Luxembourg sàrl
The HeidelbergCement Group is a German multinational building materials company headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. It is a DAX corporation and is one of the largest building materials companies in the world. It has approximately 55,000 Employees at 3,000 Locations in more than 50 Countries.
HeidelbergCement produces concrete for industry. According to their website, they are “the number 1 in aggregates production, number 2 in cement, and number 3 in ready-mixed concrete”. Their core activities “include the production and distribution of cement and aggregates, the two essential raw materials for concrete.” The specific materials used may vary based on availability in different locations.
As a large multinational group, the company has financial interests which in Luxembourg are represented by HeidelbergCement Finance Luxembourg sàrl.
Built-in convenience for HeidelbergCement Finance
HeidelbergCement Finance was seeking larger and more convenient office spaces. Before this move, they had been occupying spaces in an office centre that was too small and too expensive to accommodate their needs.
The new space for rent had an optimal layout for the company as well as a good level of accessibility. In fact, the fitted out office spaces with built-to-measure kitchen were important factors in their selection of this property. As a result of this move, HeidelbergCement will have more space, with private office areas including a kitchen and private entrance. They are therefore completely satisfied with their new premises.
In a particularly impressive turn of events, RealCorp actually found suitable office space that was not even on the market yet. Furthermore, we facilitated the new lease in very good time. We thus enabled them to sign the contract on 25 February 2020, with an Effective Date of 1st June 2020.
