Construction, renovation, fitting-out and refurbishment are all necessary at different stages of the life of a commercial property. A project manager for commercial real estate deals with many of the practical, financial and compliance issues involved in achieving the goals of owners, landlords and tenants. These projects require dedicated project management skills, especially for large-scale projects. The project manager is responsible for planning and organising resources to take each project through from design to completion, and to ensure that the final product meets the requirements for sign-off.
